Orfa Visser has standard tooling available for the production of hemispheres. You can choose from different diameters ranging from Ø50 to Ø1594 mm. Orfa Visser makes hemispheres in aluminium up to 10 mm, steel up to 8 mm and stainless steel up to 6 mm original material thickness. Copper and brass are also available on request. If desired, after the metal spinning, the hemispheres can be welded together into whole spheres by our certified welders.
They can also be sanded to K240 or polished, beaded or coated by our partners. If we do not have available the size you need, we can make tooling for you. For this usually highly specialistic work, we have our own tool-making department and a computerized storage facility, where we keep the tooling belonging to our clients. If required we can even make hemispheres up to a diameter of almost two metres for you.
