This year was a year in which a lot has happened. For many of us the most normal business were disrupted. Optimistic as we are, we step into the new year in good spirits. We hope we can normalize our duties and business again. Now the holydays are coming, we will take a moment of rest. Therefore we are closed from December 21 to January 1. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy and, above all, a Healthy New Year. Orfa Visser has invested in a new fiber laser. The new machine will be installed this summer. Advantages of the machine include that we can cut faster with better quality.

Metal spinning, deep drawing, flanging and welding. All year round we are happy to be at your service with our “Team in shape”. But in the summer we take a moment to recharge. For this we are closed from Friday July 17 to Friday August 7. (weeks 30, 31 and 32) We will be ready for you again from Monday August 10. We wish you a nice summer vacation. Because we have noticed that our customers are increasingly concerned about the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak on our deliveries, we inform you about the measures we have taken to protect our employees in the first place, but also to guarantee the continuity of deliveries to our customers as much as possible. In doing so, we apply the guidelines and protocols of the Dutch National Institute for Environmental Hygiene. Orfa Visser has taken the following measures: – Our (sales) employees do not visit customers and suppliers and work as much as possible at the office as well as at home. – We are very reluctant to receive external people. Should you wish to visit us, please contact us by telephone first, so that we can make a well-considered decision about the necessity of the possible visit. – Our employees, who do work at our location in Dronten, keep a maximum distance from each other, whereby the minimum recommended distance of 1.5 metres is amply applied. In addition, we have split up the breaks in order to always leave as few people as possible in a room at the same time, whereby the minimum distance of 1.5 metres is also respected.

To meet the latest state of technology, Orfa Visser has replaced its old 200-ton press with a new one. The new press also has a capacity of 200 tons. Deep drawing is the ideal method for forming metals without seams. This technique can be used on a wide range of metals to form various different products. Orfa Visser has deep drawing presses with a maximum capacity of 400 tons.

Orfa Visser BV has invested in a new and even more powerful metal spinning machine. The Leifeld SC316S machine was delivered in September; it has a forming capacity upto 1600 millimeter with a force of 10 tonnes on the longitudinal support and 14 tonnes on the upper support. The machine is the most powerful in Europe at this moment.
